Moving to the Berlin School of Economics and Law

I am about to move to Berlin where I have taken up a position as guest lecturer in monetary macroeconomics for one year at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Oldenburg has allowed me to deepen my knowledge in economics in a quiet and productive environment, which I will surely miss in Berlin. On the other hand, Berlin has more people, more opportunities, and it will be an interesting change.

Speaking of opportunities: The weekend after the Easter holiday the Institute for New Economic Thinking is in town. INETs conference is fully booked, but there will be a parallel conference for PhDs and post-docs. Registration is still open, but surely not for long as places are given away on a first come first serve basis. Perhaps I’ll see you there!
