Bretton Woods

The Bretton Woods Committee has a video on its website which shows the 1944 Bretton Woods conference. Since many students and also academics have no idea what Bretton Woods looks like, here it is:

Recommended reading: The Econommic Consequences of the Peace by John Maynard Keynes, available at Gutenberg. It deals with the post-WWI treaty of Versaillles, but the theme is the same as that of Bretton Woods: finding an international economic order which establishes peace and prosperity in the world.

I have noticed that the Bretton Woods resort still exists today. So, history still might repeat itself.
