Maps with colors

Lately the production of graphs (with many colours) describing facts on development has drastically increased. The two most notable websites are worldmapper.org and gapminder.org. Gapminder is a Foundation registered in Sweden, brought forward to provide free software that visualises human development. It comes in different languages and you can download presentations. Worldmapper is a collaboration of different people and institutions and has produced nice graphs like the one above. It shows the world weighted by GDP (2002). Putting these graphs together for many years would make for a nice visual representation of worldwide income distribution.
